Crufts news - congrats to everyone at Crufts - Louis 1st PD & BP; Oozat 2nd PD; Indie 1st Limit & Freddie 4th Limit; Lulu 1st PB and Luna 2nd PB.

Lulu has had a successful start to her career winning 1st PB at LKA, BOB and PG4 at Carmarthen, BP AVNSC, PG1 and BPIS!!! at Swansea and 1st PB at Crufts - 4 shows, 4 great results.

Indie starts 2010 on a high! Indie's first trip overseas proved to be a great success. At Mouscron in Belgium he won the intermediate class, then CAC, CACIB, BOB and was shortlisted in the final 7 of the group, from approx 25 dogs - and he's still only 17 months old. Congratulations to Kevin and Christine on a great result.

Congrats too to Paul and Sheelagh on Logan's Group 1 at Lichfield - a great result!

Well done to Rachel and Luna, BAVNSC Puppy bitch at Manchester Ch show.

The puppies made a successful debut at LKA. Phil and Louis won BP, with Jan and Oozat 2nd in PD, Lulu won PB and Luna was 3rd, an excellent performance all round and thank you to everyone for all the hard work.

Indie finishes his JW! Well done to Kevin, Christine and Indie on finishing his Junior Warrant, possibly the first PON to do so under the KC's new system.

After a 2 year break, Malinka returned to the ring at the PLSC championship show, judged by specialist Barbara Larska (z Gangu Dlugich, Poland). Despite having had 7 puppies four months earlier and not being in her best coat, Malinka showed like a trooper to win RCC. Well done too to Indie, Freddie and Amanda who all won their classes.

I was delighted to be invited to judge the PON Klub show in Lodz, Poland. BIS was Ch Izba z Gangu Dlugich, RBIS Ch Ponadto Chaber and BJIS Ponadto Kruszon. The dogs, venue and weather were all beautiful and I thank the Polish Kennel Club and the PON Klub for this prestigious invitation.

Notable wins include: BP & PG3 National Working breeds; BP Blackpool; RCC, BP & 5th Puppy Stakes, Southern Counties; RBD & BP, Bath; RBD & BP, WELKs; BP & 2nd Puppy Stakes, SKC; BOB, BP, G2, PG1 Bath & West; JW & last 8 for JW 3rd Day European Dog Show, Dublin; RBD, BP & PG Shortlisted WPBAW; BPAVNSC, PG1 & RBPIS at Taunton, Thanks to his dedicated owners Kevin & Christine Burdett-Coutts for campaigning him so well.

Malinek - 5th CC, BOB & GPII - Southern Counties; GPII from respected international judge Hans Lethinen, joint No 1 PON in the UK as of September 2009.

Since arriving in August 2007 aged 10 months, Malinek has gone on to gain his title quickly. He has been shown at 8 shows where CCs have been on offer and won - WKC - Best Puppy; City of Birmingham - Best Puppy & PG4, LKA 1st CC; Crufts - 2nd in Junior; Birmingham National - 2nd in Limit; SKC - 1st Limit & 2nd CC & BOB; Southern Counties - 2nd in Limit; Nat. Working - 1st Limit & 3rd CC & Ch title.

Crufts News - Well done to Logan (Dobrany Dorianblue Dominik) and Oscar (Dobrany Dorianblue Czeckan) on winning their classes at Crufts and many thanks to Sheelagh and Paul Bransby and Philip and Grace Donnay for having them in such top condition and doing such a great job. Logan also won BP and RBD at Working and Pastoral Breeds of Wales.

Ria - the UK's only triple champion - UK champion, Irish champion and FCI International champion - what an achievement - proving correct type can win anywhere in the world. Well done to Chris and Kevin!

NEW CHAMPION!!! Congratulations to Chris, Kevin and Dobrany Dorianblue Adria at Chrevle on winning the magic 3rd CC and proving that type, soundess and quality can win through.

Ria is my first homebred UK champion but not my first UK-bred champion as I recently read! There's also Ch Dobrac and Ch Doman Goral in the USA, Ch Tabor Goral in South Africa, Ch Dorodny in Canada and Ch Sasquehanna Szymon, resident in the UK and a Belgian and Polish Champion. Szymon is co-bred with Margaret Supronowicz. His brother Rubin is on 2 CCS so we are still hopeful that the 3rd will come someday. Rubin recently won RCC at National Working Breeds, well done to owners Ann and Jim.

Sasquehanna Kubrak Ponadto - Res BIS at Dutch Club championship show, well done Katja and Anto. Anto is sired by Dusan (Ch/Int Ch Antrosu Dobrany from Dorianblue).
